Brilliant news about your Elgar the other day and about the Gagliano cello. Only sorry I don't have access to 270,000 smackers to buy it for you.
I can well believe the audience was sold out and deeply moved, remembering your performance at Stratford with the Orhestra of the Swan. There are so many players out there but so few with something to say. It's the ones like you with so much eloquence, supported by a brilliant technique, who ensure an abiding love for this sort of music.
Sadly, the ones with a well honed technique and nothing to say chase it into oblivion.
